A month passes....

Well, I'm here, safely ensconced at the stadium site, and so far, so good.
I've been here for 2 and-a-bit weeks now, and it's all progressing nicely thanks.

The stadium is making real progress, a new, huge, steel structure seems to be added to it daily.

My classroom and my students are also making progress. I'll bring my camera in and take some pics so you can get a sense of where I am and who I'm with.

Just a short update, more to follow, with pictures.

Here we go..............

Well, firstly welcome to my lovely new blog, thankyou for coming. I'm Sean, and I'm (very soon) going to be running a training centre on the Olympic site in East London. I work for a company called Construction Learning World , and we will be training people who are working on the enormous construction site that will be the Olympics.

I'm going to be teaching English, maths and ESOL ( English for Speakers of Other Languages), and this blog will partly be about that, partly about my adventures, and mostly about the Olympic site and how it grows.

I haven't actually been to the Olympic Park yet. Myself and my manager Denise are due to visit next Wednesday. I am very excited. I've been an Olympic enthusiast from the start, so I am really pleased to be one tiny cog in the massive machine. I'll take some pictures whilst I'm there, so you can see how it's looking now, and maybe get some sense over the months of it growing and ripening, so to speak....
